TORONTO (WMDJ) – Elly De La Cruz reached the 30/30 club Friday night, but Toronto’s four-run seventh inning handed Cincinnati a 6-5 loss in the opener of the season’s final series.

Eugenio Suárez hit his 26th home run before Cincinnati scored four times in the third. De La Cruz delivered a two-run double, Sal Stewart added an RBI single and Héctor Rodríguez drove in another run on a forceout for a 5-2 lead.

Toronto rallied with an RBI single from Vladimir Guerrero Jr., a game-tying two-run double from Kazuma Okamoto and Nathan Lukes’ go-ahead single.

De La Cruz collected his 30th stolen base to secure the milestone. Nick Lodolo allowed two runs over five innings.
