ATLANTA, Ga. (WMDJ) — The Cincinnati Reds opened their road series against the Atlanta Braves with a 4-0 win Tuesday night at Truist Park.

Elly De La Cruz put Cincinnati on the board with his 29th home run of the season in the third inning. Dane Myers added a solo homer in the sixth before De La Cruz drove in Matt McLain with an RBI single in the seventh. Eugenio Suárez capped the scoring with his 25th homer in the eighth.

Brandon Williamson earned the win after tossing six scoreless innings, allowing just three hits. The Reds bullpen completed the shutout, holding Atlanta scoreless over the final three innings.

Cincinnati collected 10 hits while improving to 73-84.
