CINCINNATI, Oh. (WMDJ) — The Los Angeles Dodgers jumped on Cincinnati early Thursday, beating the Reds 8-2 to take the four-game series, three games to one.

Kyle Tucker did most of the damage, going 4-for-5 with three RBIs. His two-run homer in the first inning put Los Angeles ahead for good, and he added an RBI double in the second.

The Dodgers broke the game open with three more runs in the fourth. Max Muncy drove in two with a double before Josue De Paula made it 7-0 with an RBI single.

Brady Singer took the loss for Cincinnati, allowing seven runs on nine hits and four walks over 3 1/3 innings.

Sal Stewart provided the Reds' biggest offensive highlight with his 32nd home run of the season in the fourth. He finished with two hits and scored both Cincinnati runs.

The Reds now welcome the Chicago Cubs to Great American Ball Park Friday for a three-game weekend series. First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m., with pregame coverage beginning at 6:10 on WMDJ FM 100.1.
