CINCINNATI, Oh. (WMDJ) — The Cincinnati Reds were held to just three hits Monday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers shut them out, 4-0, at Great American Ball Park.

Los Angeles took the lead in the second inning on an RBI single from Hunter Feduccia. Teoscar Hernández made it 3-0 with a two-run homer in the third, while Alex Freeland added a solo shot in the seventh.

Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto dominated Cincinnati, allowing just one hit over seven scoreless innings while striking out seven. The Reds finished 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and struck out 11 times.

Elly De La Cruz accounted for two of Cincinnati's three hits, including his 29th double of the season.

Rhett Lowder took the loss after allowing three runs on five hits over five innings.

The Reds are now 0-5 in their last five meetings with Los Angeles this season.
