MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WMDJ) — The Cincinnati Reds finally found some offense Saturday night, but it still wasn’t enough in a 13-9 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.

Cincinnati erased an early 4-0 deficit and tied the game at five in the fourth on Juan Brito’s two-run homer. Milwaukee immediately answered with a three-run homer from William Contreras, then piled on five more runs in the fifth.

Eugenio Suárez went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, while Brito collected three hits and drove in three. The Reds finished with 14 hits.

Cincinnati has now lost five straight games. During the skid, the Reds have scored 15 runs while allowing 56.

The Reds will try to avoid a second straight series sweep Sunday at American Family Field. First pitch is 2:10 p.m., with pregame coverage at 1:40 on WMDJ FM 100.1.
