LOS ANGELES, Ca. (WMDJ) — The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of Cincinnati Wednesday night with a 14-1 rout of the Reds.

Los Angeles broke the game open with six runs in the fourth inning and finished with 14 hits and four home runs. Mookie Betts drove in two with a third-inning homer, while Max Muncy, Enrique Hernández and Kyle Tucker also went deep.

Rhett Lowder took the loss after allowing seven runs on seven hits over 3 1/3 innings.

The lone Cincinnati run came from Elly De La Cruz, who belted his 26th home run of the season in the fourth inning. De La Cruz has now homered in five consecutive games.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto held Cincinnati to three hits over seven innings while striking out 10.

The Reds are off Thursday before opening a three-game weekend series in Milwaukee Friday. First pitch is set for 7:45 p.m., with pregame coverage at 7:15 on WMDJ FM 100.1.
