CINCINNATI, Ohio (WMDJ) — The Cincinnati Reds saw an early lead disappear Friday night as the Milwaukee Brewers rallied for a 10-7 victory in the series opener at Great American Ball Park.

Cincinnati led 6-4 after three innings behind a two-run homer from Matt McLain and a three-run blast from Eugenio Suárez.

Milwaukee took control with a five-run fifth inning. Brice Turang was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded before Cooper Pratt cleared the bases with a three-run triple. Pratt later scored on a wild pitch to give the Brewers a 9-6 advantage.

Rhett Lowder took the loss for Cincinnati, allowing seven runs, six earned, over four innings.

Elly De La Cruz finished 3-for-5 with an RBI, while Suárez drove in three and McLain added two RBIs.
