Plans for public visitation of Pete Rose released

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Reds on behalf of the family of Pete Rose has released a statement to announce a public visitation for the fallen baseball legend and future plans to celebrate his life in 2025.

The body of Pete Rose will lie in state at Great American Ballpark for a public visitation lasting 14 hours on Sunday, November 10th from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. This free, open-to-all event will be a time for those who admired and love the “Hit King” to come together, honor his incredible legacy and say their goodbyes before the Rose family lays him to rest privately.

Guests will enter Great American Ballpark through the main gates on Crosley Terrace and will be directed to queue lines leading to the Visitation area that will overlook the field from the main concourse.

There will also be a special, “Pete Rose Day” at the Reds game on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 when the Reds host the Chicago White Sox. More details on the event will be released in the future.
