15th Region Baseball Tournament Championship at Stonecrest
Pikeville 11, Prestonsburg 1 – The Panthers scored four runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning and never looked back on their way to capturing their second consecutive regional championship. Pikeville will face the winner of Trinity or St. X from Region 7 in the state tournament next Thursday, 1:30 p.m. from Legends Field in Lexington.

Lawrence Co. 13, Belfry 10 – The Lady Dawgs survive in a slugfest to win their first regional championship since 2010. Lawrence County will meet McCracken County at the state tournament next Friday, 8:30 p.m. in Lexington.
