LOUISA, Ky. (WMDJ) – Lawrence County High School swept both the 58th District Baseball and Softball championships Tuesday evening.

The Bulldogs defeated Prestonsburg 8-2 winning their fifth baseball district title over the past seven seasons.

On the softball side, the Lady Dawgs defeated Floyd Central 15-0 in 4 innings to win their sixth-consecutive district championship.

All teams will advance to next week’s 15th Region Tournament to be played in Prestonsburg at Stonecrest.
