LOUISA, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Lawrence County man previously arrested in a child exploitation investigation has now been indicted on 63 felony counts.
Christopher Alan Price, 27, of Louisa, was indicted October 8 by a Lawrence County grand jury.
The indictment includes 25 counts of promoting a minor in a sexual performance, 20 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material, eight counts of distributing the material, nine counts of sexual crimes against animals and one count of first-degree sodomy.
Price was initially arrested in March following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch.
He was later released after a grand jury failed to return an indictment within the required 60-day period.
Price was arrested again October 15 following the indictment and booked into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.
He is being held on a $100,000 cash bond and is scheduled for arraignment November 12.
The charges are allegations, and Price is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
