HAROLD, Ky. (WMDJ) — A 68-year-old man faces drug trafficking and DUI charges following a single-vehicle crash in the Toler Creek community Sunday.
According to anarrest citation from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office, authorities responded to a crash on KY 1426 on October 18, where a Chevrolet Silverado was found nearly on its side against a bridge.
Deputies say the driver, Otis Cooley, had left the scene on foot. He was located approximately two miles away.

During a search, authorities say they discovered unlabeled containers holding pills believed to be Percocet, Klonopin and Viagra, along with more than $1,900 in cash.
The citation states the suspected pills and cash raised concerns about possible drug trafficking.
Cooley faces five charges, including first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and two insurance-related offenses.
