PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) — Firefighters from two Floyd County fire departments responded to a house fire in the Cow Creek area of Prestonsburg.

No injuries were reported.

According to the Allen Volunteer Fire Department, crews from Allen and Cow Creek responded to a residence on Rene Lane, just off KY-194.

The first arriving engine found the home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately began efforts to extinguish the blaze, with personnel and equipment from both departments assisting at the scene.

Big Sandy Rural Electric Cooperative was also contacted and requested to respond.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not been released.
