VANCLEVE, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Breathitt County man is facing several drug trafficking charges following a search of a home in the Vancleve community.
Kentucky State Police said troopers executed a search warrant shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday at a residence on Rock Lick Road, where they detained 66-year-old Randy Spicer.
During the search, police reported finding approximately 63 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 12 grams of suspected fentanyl, 3 grams of suspected heroin and 1.6 ounces of suspected marijuana. Troopers also reported finding prescription pills, firearms and drug paraphernalia.
Spicer was arrested and taken to the Kentucky River Regional Jail. He faces trafficking charges involving fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana, along with hindering prosecution or apprehension and several additional drug-related charges.
Troopers also arrested Lelia Colwell, 39, of Jackson, on outstanding warrants.
The investigation remains ongoing. Spicer is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
