FREEBURN, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Pike County man was airlifted Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash in the Freeburn community.
According to Kentucky State Police, the collision happened around 10:15 a.m. on State Highway 194 East.
The preliminary investigation indicates Morris Casey was driving a 2010 Ford Ranger eastbound when it struck the rear of a stopped coal truck. The truck had stopped because of road construction.
Casey was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
