PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Paintsville man is accused of leading deputies on a high-speed motorcycle pursuit that allegedly reached speeds of about 130 mph before ending in his arrest.

According to a Johnson County Sheriff's Office arrest citation, Adam J. Warren is charged with speeding 26 mph or more over the posted limit, reckless driving, three counts of second-degree wanton endangerment involving a police officer, second-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, third-degree assault of a police officer, failure to register the transfer of a motor vehicle, operating a motorcycle without the required operator's license and failure of a non-owner operator to maintain required insurance.

The citation alleges Warren refused to stop for deputies, led officers through multiple roadways at high speeds and resisted arrest after the pursuit ended. Authorities also allege he kicked a deputy during the arrest.

The charges are allegations, and Warren is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
