PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WMDJ) — A large-scale Kentucky State Police drug enforcement operation across the Post 9 district has resulted in 28 arrests, dozens of criminal charges and the seizure of more than $102,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs.
According to Kentucky State Police in a news release, Operation Mountain Justice resulted in 54 criminal charges. Troopers and detectives also seized approximately 4.7 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 130 grams of suspected fentanyl, three firearms and about $1,500 in cash.
The operation targeted suspected drug trafficking networks operating throughout the Post 9 district.
