PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Pike County man died Wednesday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 in Pikeville.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers were called to the scene around 3:51 p.m. on July 1.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Paul Bisbee was driving a 1988 Dodge Ram SUV southbound when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a concrete bridge wall.

Bisbee was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner's Office.

The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police
