INEZ, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Martin County man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony charges in two separate cases.
Thornton Eddie Goble was sentenced June 18th in Martin Circuit Court after pleading guilty to five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, fourth or greater offense.
The wanton endangerment charges stemmed from an April 29, 2025 incident on Yellow Creek Road north of Inez, where prosecutors said Goble fired a .38-caliber handgun while his wife, two other adults and two children were present, creating a substantial danger of death or serious injury.
He received a total of 10 years for the wanton endangerment convictions. He was also sentenced to two years for felony DUI, with that sentence ordered to run consecutively, bringing his total prison sentence to 12 years.
