LOUISA, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Lawrence County man has been arrested following an undercover investigation into child sexual abuse material.
Kentucky State Police arrested Ricky Henry, 39, Thursday at a residence in Louisa after an investigation by the agency's Electronic Crime Branch.
According to KSP, investigators discovered Henry was allegedly uploading child sexual abuse material online. A search warrant was executed at his home, where investigators seized electronic devices for forensic examination.
Henry is charged with nine counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, a Class C felony punishable by five to 10 years in prison.
He is being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
