FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) — The Floyd County Coroner's Office has confirmed to WMDJ that the human remains that were found on KY-1428 on the old road between Allen and Prestonsburg was identified as Kayla Reffett.

Deputy coroner Chuck Hall confirmed to WMDJ that medical examiners had made the identification. 

She was last seen on March 29th after walking from a clinic in Allen.

No other details have been made available at this time. This investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
