NASHVILLE, Tn. (WMDJ) — Dale Ann Bradley and CJ the DJ Jarrell Announce Bluegrass Single, “Let’s Tear It Down and Build It Over Again."
Award-winning bluegrass artist Dale Ann Bradley, a six-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, has teamed up with 37-year radio veteran and bluegrass singer CJ “The DJ” Jarrell for an emotional new single set for release in spring 2026.
Titled “Let’s Tear It Down and Build It Over Again,” the song is a heartfelt ballad about rebuilding a relationship from the ground up. Written by acclaimed songwriter Dale McKinney, the track explores themes of reflection, redemption, and the courage it takes to start over after hardship.
Blending Bradley’s signature mountain-soul vocals with Jarrell’s seasoned delivery, the collaboration brings authenticity and depth to a song that speaks to anyone who has faced challenges in love and life.
The stripped-down bluegrass arrangement allows the message to take center stage, supported by rich harmonies and traditional instrumentation.
“This song is about second chances,” said Bradley. “It’s about recognizing what’s broken and having the strength to rebuild it stronger than before.”
Jarrell added, “After decades in radio and music, songs like this still hit home. It’s honest, it’s real, and it’s something people will connect with.”
“Let’s Tear It Down and Build It Over Again” is expected to resonate strongly with fans of traditional and contemporary bluegrass alike, continuing both artists’ legacies of delivering meaningful, story-driven music.
The single will be available on all major streaming platforms this spring.
