PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Prestonsburg man has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault that occurred last August.
Police say Austin Reahard, 31, grabbed a woman by the shoulders as she exited a restaurant and shoved her to the ground.
The arrest warrant states the woman was seriously injured, suffering a fractured vertebra.
Reahard is charged with second-degree assault, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of five to ten years in prison. He has since been released on an unsecured $25,000 bond.
