PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Floyd County man charged in a 2019 murder case now has a new trial date after multiple delays.
Wesley Glenn Martin, 50, of Wayland, is scheduled to go to trial May 18, according to an order set Monday in Floyd Circuit Court.
Martin was arrested in February 2019 after the body of 26-year-old Jordan Tackett was found buried in a shallow grave in a yard.
A bond hearing in the case is also scheduled for next week and will be held over Zoom.
Martin remains lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
