PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Perry County man has been arrested in connection with an ATV death investigation from late February.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Noah Back, of Vicco, was arrested Saturday and charged with murder. Deputies took him into custody at his home around 1:30 p.m. and lodged him in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.

According to the sheriff’s office, the charge stems from the February 28 death of 16-year-old Emilynn Clark.

Officials say investigators, along with the Commonwealth’s Attorney, determined there was probable cause to believe Back’s actions showed extreme indifference to human life and led to Clark’s death.

The Perry County Coroner’s Office says preliminary autopsy results indicate Clark was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of her death.

The investigation is ongoing.
