PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WMDJ) — A Pikeville man has been arrested following an investigation by the Pikeville Police Department.

Terry Weston Rogers, 29, is charged with one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.

According to an arrest warrant filed Thursday, police say Rogers was in possession of a phone containing more than 1,000 images that allegedly depicted a sexual performance involving a minor.

Rogers was arrested Thursday and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.

Police say Rogers was previously arrested last year in connection with a reported sexual abuse incident in the Pikeville parking garage.
