FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – First Frontier Appalachian Trails will officially open the new Floyd County trailhead this weekend with the German Bridge Trail Ride event this evening and Saturday.

The trail connects the German Bridge campground Van Lear and parts of Martin County, offering scenic rugged terrain.

Bluegrass music begins tonight at the campground. The Saturday Side-by-Side Ride starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow at German Bridge. $25 permit required.
