FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – The jury trial for a Floyd County man charged in a 2019 murder has been delayed.
On Monday, the trial of Wesley Martin, 50, of Wayland, was rescheduled for September 8th.
Martin has been charged with the murder of Jordan Tackett.
In April 2019, Kentucky State Police opened a death investigation after discovering a body buried in shallow grave located in a yard at a residence in Wayland owned by Martin. Tackett, 26, of East Point, had been reported missing in February of that same year.
