JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – The Paintsville city pool has reopened after being closed for nearly five years.

Officials have also announced that admission to the pool will be free for the remainder of the summer.

The newly renovated pool features a water slide and concession stand, with plans to install a splash pad and renovating a wading pool by next summer.

The pool is located on Madison Avenue in Paintsville.
