EASTERN, Ky. (WMDJ) – The Floyd County Board of Education has voted to once again purchase basic school supplies for every student attending Floyd County Schools for the upcoming school year.

Each child will receive supplies such as pencils, notebooks and more based on their grade level.

Students in grades 5-12 will also receive a backpack and laptop to be distributed the first week of school.
