FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – Increased overnight patrols by the Floyd County Sheriff’s department has led to a pair of separate arrests in the McDowell area.
On June 8th, deputies attempted to stop Christopher Hall of Printer, who was wanted on several warrants, on KY Route 3680 in Frasure’s Creek. Hall fled on foot but was later located and taken into custody with help from K9 “Bear”.
Two days later, on June 10th, around 1:20 a.m. deputies attempted to stop Nicholas Moore, also wanted on outstanding warrants. Moore fled, crashed into a creek, then ran into the woods where K9 “Bear” again tracked and helped take Moore into custody.
Both men face multiple charges and are currently lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
