HAZARD, Ky. (WMDJ) – A former assistant Pike County commonwealth attorney has been sentenced to five years in prison in connection to the death of his wife.
Donald Kyle Deskins, 54, of Kimper, was convicted for evidence tampering Thursday after he entered an Alford Plea last month to have a murder charge dismissed without prejudice. An Alford Plea means Deskins maintains his innocence, but admits a guilty verdict is likely.
Judith Deskins died on April 24th, 2021 at her residence.
