McDOWELL, Ky. (WMDJ) - Deputies with the Floyd County Sheriff's department responded to McDowell ARH late Sunday night after a man arrived claiming he had been shot.

The victim told deputies he had parked overnight on the side of KY Route 122 near Frasure's Creek when, around 11 p.m., two unknown individuals opened his car door, ordered him out and robbed him.

After the robbery, the suspects allowed the man back into his silver Ford Explorer. As they walked behind his vehicle, they fired into the rear window injuring him.
