PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) — Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a fugitive from Indiana.

While patrolling in Old Allen on Monday evening, deputies pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations. K9 “Bear” alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics.

The driver initially gave a false name but was later identified as 29-year-old Jacob Henson of Clark’s Hill, Indiana. Henson is wanted in Indiana and has multiple outstanding warrants in Kentucky.

Henson now faces several charges and is currently lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to Indiana.
