FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers remain closed through weekend

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Disaster Recovery Centers in Kentucky will be temporarily closed on April 5 and 6 due to severe weather. Homeowners and renters in Breathitt, Clay, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Simpson, and Woodford counties can apply for federal assistance.

 

If unable to visit a center, applications can be submitted online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA App, or by calling 800-621-3362. For center locations, visit fema.gov/drc or text "DRC" followed by a Zip Code to 43362.

 

FEMA urges affected Kentuckians to apply for assistance by the April 25 deadline.
