HUDDY, KY. (WMDJ) – A Pike County man is facing assault charges.
Carson Jones, 45, of Stone, was taken into custody after Kentucky State Police responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting at Forest Trace Apartments in the Huddy area on Thursday.
Troopers indicated Jones discharged a firearm, striking Chad Hurley with a non-life-threatening injury.
Jones has been charged with first-degree Assault, Possession of a Defaced Firearm and drug trafficking charges of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine. He’s currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
