STEELE, Ky. (WMDJ) – Two people are in custody following the death of a Pike County man on Saturday.

Kentucky State Police responded to a call regarding a shooting at a home on Laurel Fork in the Feds Creek area. Troopers discovered 42-year-old Christopher Lester, of Steele, dead from fatal gunshot wounds at the scene.

Lester’s body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. 

Michael Brown was arrested by Buchanan County Sheriff’s deputies in Virginia on Sunday, while Anthony Browning was taken into custody after being discovered in Mingo County, W.Va.

Both are facing charges of Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
