McDOWELL, Ky. (WMDJ) – The Floyd County Sheriff’s department is searching for two suspects who attempted to break into a convenience store early Monday morning.

The incident took place around 2:15 a.m. Monday at the McDowell Stop N’ Shop.

Two individuals wearing hooded clothing and covering their faces were caught on surveillance camera attempting to enter the business, causing damage to the property.
