COAL RUN VILLAGE, Ky. (WMDJ) – A Floyd County woman has been arrested following a shoplifting incident at Rural King in Coal Run Village.
Summer Adkins, 41, of Martin, was taken into custody Saturday by Pikeville City Police.
At the time of her arrest, Adkins had multiple outstanding warrants, including two for failure to appear in court in Floyd County and four warrants for failure to appear in Pike County, along with being a persistent felony offender.
In addition to these warrants, she now faces additional charges of tampering with physical evidence, providing false information, third degree possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting.
Adkins is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
