FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – Voters in Floyd County ratified resolutions to allow for the sale of medical cannabis this week.
Voters overwhelming chose to approve the measure by a wide 6,648 vote margin, while voters in Prestonsburg approved the measure 1,034 to 424 in the city limits.
Gov. Andy Beshear said Thursday that all 106 cities and counties that had medical cannabis on the ballot voted to allow medical cannabis businesses to operate in their communities.
