FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – Yet another school threat has been addressed by authorities and Floyd County Schools.
This is at least the seventh such threat resulting in an arrest of a Floyd County student over the past few weeks.
On Monday, Floyd County Schools, in coordination with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, addressed an incident at John M. Stumbo Elementary School in which a juvenile student made a threat and has been charged with Second Degree Terroristic Threatening and taken into custody.
Authorities say a juvenile student made implicit threatening statements to another student.
No firearm was discovered on school property, and no students or staff were in any imminent danger during this incident.
