FRANKFORT, Ky. (WMDJ) – A new welding and pipe fabrication facility is coming to Floyd County.

95th State Representative Ashley Tackett Laferty has announced that Louisville-based Infinity Design & Construction Group will set up shop in Floyd County, bringing jobs with wages of $41.50 per hour plus unionized healthcare and pension benefits.

According to their company website, Infinity has been serving the commercial and industrial piping industry since 2013. 

Rep. Laferty says she’s excited to help bring this established company's newest location to the mountains and confident that its success will show others throughout the Commonwealth that Eastern Kentucky is the place for their next big success story.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for October 28th, across from the Community Center in Martin.
