PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) – Hundreds of customers remain without power in Floyd County following Friday’s high winds and storms brought by the remnants of Hurricane Helene.

As of midnight Monday, Big Sandy RECC reported 883 outages for customers in Floyd County. Most of those affected include over 700 outages in the Cow Creek and Endicott areas.

AEP reported 16 outages affected 102 customers in Floyd County.
