FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – For the second time in as many days, another Betsy Layne Elementary School student has been charged for making threats towards another student.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office took another student into custody on Tuesday, who’s been charged with Second Degree Terroristic Threatening following an investigation.

The student was not on school grounds at the time of the incident.

No firearm was discovered on school property and no students or staff were in any type of danger at any time.
