BETSY LAYNE, Ky. (WMDJ) – Floyd County Schools and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department are investigating another incident involving a juvenile making threats against other students on school grounds.

Earlier this morning, deputies charged a juvenile at Betsy Layne Elementary with one count of Terroristic Threatening, Second Degree after it was determined that the student made implicit threatening statements to other students.

The juvenile was taken into custody.

At no time was a firearm discovered on school property and no students or staff were in any imminent danger during the incident.
