FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – For the second time this week a Floyd County student has been charged for making threatening statements to other students.
Prestonsburg City Police say a juvenile at Prestonsburg Elementary School made, “implicit threatening statements to other students during the school day” on Wednesday.
The juvenile has been charged with Terroristic Threatening, Second Degree.
Floyd County Schools through a press release said that at no time was a firearm discovered on school property and no students or staff were in any imminent danger.
