PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WMDJ) – A Floyd County man has been sentenced on child pornography charges.
Floyd Circuit Judge Johnny Ray Harris sentenced B.J. Wood to 10 years following a plea agreement.
Wood was sentenced on a charge of distribution of matter portraying a minor and five years on a charge of possessing or viewing matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, with the sentences to run concurrently.
Officers with the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested Wood in Marion County on July 22, 2021, on charges following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation.
