MILLARD, Ky. (WMDJ) — One person is dead following a hit-and-run accident that occurred Wednesday night in Pike County.

The accident happened on US 460 at Millard just before 10:00 p.m.

Kentucky State Police say Clinton Justice was driving a 2013 Ford Edge when he struck Eric Justice, who was riding a bicycle.

Clinton Justice fled the scene but was located later and arrested on charges of DUI, vehicular homicide when under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Clinton Justice was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center. Eric Justice was pronounced dead at the scene.
