LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WMDJ) – One person has died after a head-on collision on U.S. 23 in Lawrence County.

The crash happened early Tuesday morning at the intersection of U.S. 23 and KY Route 645 at Ulysses.

James Sisco, 49, was traveling south on U.S. 23 when he crossed the centerline and struck a semi-truck traveling in the northbound lane.

Sisco was pronounced dead at the scene, according to KSP.
