The Floyd County Health Department along with the City of Prestonsburg will conduct a FREE Car Seat Check Event this Saturday, September 21st from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Prestonsburg City Hall. Certified Child Passenger Technicians will be on hand to help answer questions, check recalls and assist in making sure your seat is installed correctly. No appointment necessary.

The 2024 Jenny Wiley Festival Beauty Pageant will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg.

 

Girls: newborn - 21 years

Boys: newborn - 3 years

 

Deadline for entry is September 13th. 

 

Trophy for all participants. Sash, crown and trophies for all winners. Cash prizes for Miss winner.

Come to the "Party at the Park" FREE concert featuring the KY Opry Junior Pros & local duo JoLeigh on Saturday, September 21st starting at 6:30 p.m. The show will be in the new stage area, where the old softball field was located, at Archer Park. There will be food vendors. No alcohol permitted.
